Offline Debit Card

Offline Debit Card – usually a plastic card given by a bank to a depositor or customer which provides an alternative way of payment to cash when making a purchase. It can be called electronic checks.

Transactions conducted with offline debit cards require 2–3 days to be reflected on users’ account balances.

Some of offline debit card may have logos of major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa and etc. These are used when making purchases into malls or shopping centers using the POS or Point of Sales system.

In other countries such as UK, Offline debit cards are used to purchase fuel in some gasoline stations with Point Of Sale System.
